Rebel and Jacon met in 2019 after being set up by a friend, but even though Covid came between the two, they both stayed in touch and reunited when the situation got better. Not long after the couple made their red carpet debut and attended the Monte-Carlo Gala for Planetary Health in Monaco in September 2020. What followed was posts on social media showcasing their love and sweet PDA-filled moments. The two dated for roughly a year before news of their split came in February 2021, when Rebel posted a photo with the hashtag ‘single girl headed to Super Bowl’. 

Her representative confirmed the split with a source in an exclusive with HollywoodLife saying, “It just reached its end because they are just in different spots in their life. When they started talking about the future, they thought their future would be together, but they found out fast that they didn’t have similar mindsets on settling down, career goals, and all of that. No heartbreak, they are cool with each other. It just ran its course.”

According to The Daily Mail, the ‘Pitch Perfect’ star and the 31-year-old tennis star are an item after being spotted at The Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Awards earlier this month on December 8. But that’s not all as the two were also seen at the US Open Tennis Championship in New York in late August. and even took a picture together on the court with their friend and Bachelor star Brittany Hockley. Although the pair were thought to be attending the US Open together just as friends, rumors are swirling in the tennis world that Rebel and Matt could potentially be more than ‘just friends’.
