Cazzie David Is Reportedly Dating Mac Miller’s Brother, Miller McCormick – Vanity Fair

Cazzie David reportedly has a new boyfriend and they’ve been going strong for quite a while.

According to Page Six, the No One Asked for This author is dating Miller McCormick, a graphic designer and brother of the late rapper Mac Miller, whose real name was Malcolm McCormick. A source confirmed to the outlet that “They’ve been together for a while now. It’s been over a year of them dating, possibly closer to two.” This revelation refutes previous rumors from this summer that David was seeing John Mayer after the musician posted a birthday tribute to her on his Instagram. The insider added, “Mac’s family loves Cazzie. Really, it’s no surprise she ended up with his brother. She’s a beautiful beacon in what has been an intensely tough period of navigation.”

While the couple has yet to publicly confirm their relationship, they’re apparently pretty serious about each other as, according to a real estate transfer obtained by Page Six, David and McCormick purchased a $450,000 four-bedroom, four-bath home together in February in the graphic designer’s hometown of Pittsburgh. One of their neighbors also confirmed that finding to the outlet, saying that, “They seem like nice kids. They keep to themselves.” The pair also follow each other on Instagram and often like one another’s posts.

David previously dated Pete Davidson for two years prior to his short-lived engagement to Ariana Grande during the summer of 2018. Shortly before getting together with the Saturday Night Live star, Grande also ended her two-year relationship with the late Miller. While it’s unclear how David and McCormick first met, according to Us Weekly, Miller and David developed a bond and “leaned on each other” after finding out their exes were dating. “Cazzie and Mac never met, but started speaking because of Ariana and Pete’s relationship,” a source explained to the outlet back in February 2019. “Cazzie and Mac’s moms have become extremely close and talk almost every day. Mac’s mom loves her.”

Following the rapper’s death from an accidental drug overdose in September 2018, E! News also reported that David had reached out to Miller’s mother, Karen Meyers. “It’s still a relatively new friendship, and primarily limited to social media, but Cazzie and Karen think very highly of each other,” a source told the outlet. “Through their chats, the two have discovered they have much more in common than just Mac, Ariana, and Pete. Karen thinks Cazzie is an intelligent and sweet person.”

Trope Tuesday: Fake Dating – The Young Folks

Characters almost always decide to fake-date each other for public image purposes. Whether it is characters getting fake-married for the sake of getting government aid for …….
